Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information StreamSpark (“StreamSpark”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use streamspark.ai and its tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using StreamSpark you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your password, stored only as a secure one-way hash (we never see or store your actual password).
  • If you sign in with Google: your Google account email, name and profile identifier.
  • If you enable two-factor authentication: an encrypted authenticator secret and hashed backup codes.

Content you provide

  • Thumbnail images you upload for audits.
  • Text you enter into our tools (for example working titles, descriptions, keywords, links and schedules).
  • The results we generate for you (audits, scores, titles, descriptions, hashtags and social posts).

YouTube data (only if you connect your channel)

If you choose to connect a YouTube channel, StreamSpark uses YouTube API Services to request read-only access (the youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly scopes). With your permission we access:

  • Basic channel information (channel name, handle, thumbnail, subscriber, view and video counts).
  • Metadata for up to your 100 most recent uploads (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, publish dates, duration) and up to 25 playlists.
  • Per-video analytics such as views, watch time, average view duration and percentage, subscribers gained, likes, comments, and, where available, impressions and click-through rate.

StreamSpark cannot upload, edit, delete or publish anything on your YouTube channel.

If you use Similar Thumbnails, we use YouTube API Services (with your connected account’s access) to search public YouTube videos related to your thumbnail. We store the public results (video titles, channel names, thumbnails and view counts) with that audit so you can view them again.

Twitch data (only if you connect your Twitch channel)

If you choose to connect Twitch, we request read-only access (the user:read:email, moderator:read:followers andchannel:read:subscriptions scopes). With your permission we access:

  • Your Twitch account and channel information (display name, login, email, profile image, broadcaster type, current title and category).
  • Follower and subscriber counts, and metadata for your recent past broadcasts (VODs).
  • Live viewer counts while you are live, which we sample to calculate average and peak viewers for your streams.

StreamSpark cannot post, stream, moderate or change anything on your Twitch channel.

Billing information (only if you buy a plan or pack)

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or other payment details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan, subscription status and renewal date, your credit balance and a ledger of credit and audit usage, and records of payment events Stripe sends us. Stripe’s handling of your data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Technical information

  • A session cookie that keeps you signed in (valid for up to 7 days) and short-lived security cookies used while connecting YouTube or Twitch.
  • IP address and basic request data, used for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.
  • Website analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (for example pages viewed, device and approximate location). Google Analytics uses cookies; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and secure your account, sign you in, and protect against unauthorized access (for example login lockouts and two-factor authentication).
  • To provide our tools: analyzing your thumbnails and generating YouTube and social content for you.
  • If you connected YouTube: to show your channel dashboard and to personalize audits and generated content with insights from your own videos. Channel data never changes your thumbnail Readiness Score.
  • If you connected Twitch: to show your Twitch stats, best times to stream and niche insights, and to personalize Twitch content you generate.
  • To save your audit history and version comparisons so you can track your progress.
  • To manage your plan: tracking free audits, credits and Audit Credit Pack balances, processing subscriptions and purchases, and preventing abuse.
  • To send account emails such as a welcome email and password reset links.
  • To understand and improve how our website is used (analytics).

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use your data for advertising, and we do not use your YouTube or Twitch data for any purpose other than providing features to you within StreamSpark.

3. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run StreamSpark, and only as needed to provide the service:

  • AI processing: thumbnails, the text you enter and (if connected) relevant YouTube or Twitch data are sent to our AI model provider to generate your audits, content and Similar Thumbnails match scores.
  • Payments: Stripe processes subscriptions and purchases. We share your email and the item you are buying with Stripe; Stripe collects your payment details directly.
  • Twitch: when you connect Twitch, your use is also subject to the Twitch Privacy Notice.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics receives website usage data as described above.
  • Hosting and storage: our application, database and uploaded thumbnails are hosted with cloud infrastructure providers.
  • Email delivery: to send account emails.
  • Google: when you sign in with Google or connect YouTube, your use is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and StreamSpark.

4. YouTube API Services

StreamSpark uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube channel you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can revoke StreamSpark’s access to your YouTube data at any time by clicking Disconnect on the YouTube Channel page, or through your Google security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Storage, security and retention

  • YouTube and Twitch access and refresh tokens and two-factor secrets are stored encrypted.
  • Connected YouTube and Twitch data is refreshed automatically about once every 24 hours while your channel is connected, and you can refresh it manually.
  • When you disconnect Twitch, we delete the stored Twitch channel data and tracked stream data.
  • Your plan and credit records are kept while your account exists. Stripe keeps its own payment and invoice records, as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes, under its own policy.
  • Account data, audits and uploaded thumbnails are kept until you delete them or delete your account.
  • When you click Disconnect, we revoke our access token with Google and delete the stored YouTube channel and video data.
  • If you revoke access through Google instead, we stop being able to refresh your data; you can remove the stored copy by clicking Disconnect or by deleting your account.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access and update: view and edit your profile on the Account Settings page.
  • Delete audits: delete individual audit versions from your audit history.
  • Delete your account: deleting your account from Account Settings permanently removes your account, audits, uploaded thumbnails, plan and credit records, and any connected YouTube or Twitch data, and cancels any active subscription.
  • Disconnect YouTube or Twitch: at any time from the YouTube Channel or Twitch Channel page.
  • Manage billing: update your payment method, view invoices or cancel your subscription from Plans & Billing.
  • Analytics cookies: you can block cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us to make a request.

7. Children

StreamSpark is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know through the app or by email.
